I'm going to start sharing collections of photos from single day outings. I try my best to share a new photo on social media every day. While this lets me share my best photos from all my outings it limits the amount I can share as there are only so many days in a year and I also try not to be very redundant with my postings. This leaves me with a surplus of images that I would like to share with my followers but am unable to. In the past I've remedied this by sharing albums of photos on Facebook but recently thought it might make more sense to share them here so that's what I'm doing.
So I'll kick it off with an outing I had with my great friends Scott Keys and Mark Strohl. We headed up into Pennsylvania in search of raptors and found a couple of semi-cooperative subjects. We also came upon a few very cooperative Ring-necked Pheasants. They were placed in the area for hunting but there were no hunters on this day, just us three with cameras chasing them around. They are quite striking birds for sure. So here are my favorite photos from the outing, I hope you enjoy them being shared this way.
