Herring Gull at Sunset

I really liked the color tones in this photo of a Herring Gull as it stood on the sand at the edge of the ocean. The waves crashing up around it created the foam. The sun was setting and also being hidden behind some clouds that had rolled in, which made for some soft and colorful light in the background. I always like how the wet sand creates some great reflections for the birds that stand on it.
