Glowing Gosling Trio

These adorable Egyptian Goose goslings were so much fun to work with. They resided at a small local neighborhood park in Sebastian, Florida so they and their parents were really used to people. If you laid down along the shoreline, they would swim right to you, as in too close to photograph with a long lens! On this morning I kept trying to photograph them backlit in the morning sun, which was not easy as they move around a lot and fast. They were constantly chasing insects that were in the surface vegetation, which had them moving all over. I finally got this group against the sun when they swam past me. I was hoping to have them more lined up but with a group of birds like this you take what you can get. I really liked the water bokeh from the backlit sun and you can really see the glowing downy feathers on these little ones.
