I always love photographing these beautiful warblers in the fresh spring growth. Vibrant green leaves and buds sprouting out of the branches of almost every tree and bush add a wonderful element to songbird photography. Here I photographed this lovely Prairie Warbler perched on a green vine with splashes of green leaves surrounding it. The soft overcast light worked perfectly to show off the striking pattern of this common warbler species in southern New Jersey.
