Nestled in the Pines

I don't often get a chance to photograph the female warbler species so when this female Pine Warbler presented a great photo I took it immediately. She is a lovely looking bird too with her soft yellow and gray coloration and I really liked the subtle eye line this one showed. She chose a lovely perch of incredibly vibrant pine needles and a single pine cone to her left. The foreground branches hid her entire body but I like how she emerges from the perch in this photo. Thanks to a lovely overcast day I was able to photograph her at 5:30 in the afternoon. Taken in southern New Jersey.
