Parula Lookback

On a visit back to my favorite tree ever I spent some time with a Northern Parula. This lovely looking male landed in just the right spot on this amazingly lichen covered perch. He was facing away at first and then gave this nice looking back gaze that I really liked for a different pose. I really like how it shows off the back coloration and how he is nestled in the lichens is just right. The soft light worked great and the trees in the background are really showing green now which gave a pleasing background. I've got a lot of Northern Parula photos now and this one is right up there as one of my favorites.
