Yellow-throated Warbler in Cherry Blossoms

I previously shared how I had struggled to get a Yellow-throated Warbler photo that I really loved. This year ended that feeling and now I have a lot of photos of this magnificent species that I really love. This is one of them, where the striking warbler still stands out in all the bright pink blossoms of the flowering cherry tree. It's almost too much color and has a lot going on in the photo but I still really like the shot. The bird gave me a great pose as well, showing off that incredibly long bill that it has and the soft overcast light worked just right to keep all the details in the scene. It always feels great to work really hard at capturing a specific species of bird and then have it all finally pay off and have a handful of photos you really like.
