Spending a couple of hours in a Prothonotary Warblers habitat and you will see it eat quite a bit! This fella was eating really well and when it grabbed this caterpillar it bounced right into a small spotlight of sun streaming through the forest in the evening. I dropped the exposure quickly to account for the bright sun and it made for a rather dramatic shot.

Nature photography has become a very passionate hobby of mine and whenever I get a chance I love to get outside and enjoy being outdoors. I am also the co-owner of KGM Expressions, a wedding and portrait photography business, with my wife Kim. This is how we make our living and I love that we get to do that together.
