Yellow Warbler Portrait

This was one of the best colored male Yellow Warblers I've ever photographed. He was so vibrant and even had the hint of reddish color on the top of his head. It was only noticeable in the close up photos like this one. I really liked the richly colored perch he chose to land on as well. It was either raining or had just stopped when I took this shot on one of the many rainy days I spent in the forest this spring. Even though I find it difficult to shoot in the rain I do always love how everything looks in the final photos. It's almost always worth it.

Nature photography has become a very passionate hobby of mine and whenever I get a chance I love to get outside and enjoy being outdoors.
