Parula on Cherry Blossoms

Every time I crossed paths with a Cherry tree in bloom I spent a good amount of time hanging out around it in hopes of photographing any bird in the tree. Thankfully there were plenty of Northern Parulas hanging out in the area right around this tree and this one obliged and dropped in on this wide open perch. The colorful pink flowers made for a very unique setting for this already colorful warbler. I went with a vertical composition to try to include the entire branch that it was perched on and it was so nice of him to sing out right in that moment.

Nature photography has become a very passionate hobby of mine and whenever I get a chance I love to get outside and enjoy being outdoors.
