Curious Blackburnian

I apologize if I keep sharing more and more of this species but I've had such a great time with them this year I can't help myself. This is the same bird I've now visited 4 times and every single time he is just unbelievably cooperative and loves to give poses like you see here. He will land in a tree right in front of you and start searching for food and I get to watch and photograph him doing his thing. I know he was actually looking under leaves for food in this pose but it did give a nice curious appearance for the photo that I liked. This shot is a little different in that he is in a tree with some really nice bright green leaves too.

Nature photography has become a very passionate hobby of mine and whenever I get a chance I love to get outside and enjoy being outdoors. I am also the co-owner of KGM Expressions, a wedding and portrait photography business, with my wife Kim. This is how we make our living and I love that we get to do that together.
