Getting a decent photo of this species was the last thing I expected to get this year since they do not breed in my areas and I don't really visit good migration locations. When I saw this bird though I was so happy and then when it came down to a lower perspective I was even more happy. Unfortunately the sun was out when I shot this and the background got really light but for my first ever photo of a Bay-breasted Warbler I'll take it. I processed the background in post much darker and gave it a little green color for some liveliness. They sure are a beautiful looking bird. Hopefully one day I'll get to see one even better than this.
