This was from my second visit to photograph these Chestnut-sided Warblers and we had some perfect light. The soft evening sun was shining right in when this lovely male landed on top of the thorny perch and sang out loudly. I was happy that I was far enough away to include the entire curve of the perch and those pretty green leaves from the vine growing around the thorny brown branch.

Nature photography has become a very passionate hobby of mine and whenever I get a chance I love to get outside and enjoy being outdoors. I am also the co-owner of KGM Expressions, a wedding and portrait photography business, with my wife Kim. This is how we make our living and I love that we get to do that together.
