Colorful Chestnut-sided Warbler

In the previous frame this bird had grabbed a tiny aphid or something like that but I missed focus by a tiny amount so instead I'm sharing this shot which was tack sharp. I really loved the pose of the bird and the thorny perch has some great character to it. The light at this point of the morning was about perfect and gave me some vivid colors on both the bird and the background. It's definitely one of the more colorful scenes I've captured this season.
