After spending the evening in the marshes of southern New Jersey I knew there might be a great sunset based on the clear but humid evening. As I had hoped when the sun dropped near the horizon I found an Osprey perched on the top of some dead trees really far out in the marsh. I was wrapping up a workshop and had my client run into position so we could line up the bird and the trees inside the sun. We got in position, dialed in the settings and waited for the Osprey to give a profiled pose and got the shot. I really loved how not only the bird was insided the sun but the entire cluster of trees fit in the sun just right.
