I know I've mentioned it many times but I really love photographing the birds of the salt marsh in southern New Jersey. Here is a Seaside Sparrow with a soft glow from the just risen sun. One of the few times I got pretty close to one in the grass, or rather it landed close to me. I love the curves and lines the marsh grasses make in these photos and here the sparrow has a rather alert pose as I made some quiet noises with my mouth to get it to look towards me. I made sure to lower my perspective so that I could include some of that soft orange sky in the background.
