I spent a very very rain day in northern New Jersey with my great friend Ray Guidetti chasing and photographing spring warblers. It was completely unexpected when we found a Lawrence’s Warbler which is a rare hybrid species between a Blue-winged and a Golden-winged Warbler. While it was a giant pain in the ass to shoot in all that rain, the look of the photos was outstanding. The lighting was great and the rain made everything looks so lush which I loved. Here are some of my favorites from this one day outing.
