Something about the pose of this Louisiana Waterthrush made me feel like it was showing off. Like it is king of this mossy log. I still fondly remember the few mornings I spent with this species while sitting in the cold spring river where it resides. It was a wonderful way to kick off my warbler season and I'll be thrilled to be back there again next year.

Nature photography has become a very passionate hobby of mine and whenever I get a chance I love to get outside and enjoy being outdoors. I am also the co-owner of KGM Expressions, a wedding and portrait photography business, with my wife Kim. This is how we make our living and I love that we get to do that together.
