This was the most cooperative Louisiana Waterthrush I've ever crossed paths with. At this point it had walked along the shoreline where I was laying and peeked right over some rocks and called out at me. This was the last shot I was able to take this close because after this the bird was too close to focus on. I'm not sure why but this photo makes me laugh everytime I look at it.

Nature photography has become a very passionate hobby of mine and whenever I get a chance I love to get outside and enjoy being outdoors. I am also the co-owner of KGM Expressions, a wedding and portrait photography business, with my wife Kim. This is how we make our living and I love that we get to do that together.
